FAQ cosmetic surgery of cheekbones

Q. What treatments are advisable to increase the volume of the cheekbones?
A. To increase the volume of the cheekbones, it is possible to use one of the following techniques: injections of fillers, lipofilling and cheekbone implants.
As a first solution, I suggest an absorbable filler like the new concept Sub-Q hyaluronic acid which lasts about 12 months. If the patients wants to achieve a more durable result, it is possible to use either a permanent filler or the lipofilling technique (transplantation of fat taken from one’s own body), or also solid silicone implants, Goretex or Medpor.
